Amber recently joined the PREmployer team as a leasing payroll specialist and brings 3 years of payroll experience to the department. In her role as a payroll specialist, she ensures clients’ payrolls are processed correctly and on time. She really enjoys the fast paced work environment at PREmployer. Amber was born and raised in Newton, Alabama but currently lives in Fadette with her husband and two little boys, Braxton and Rhett. In her spare time, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends and visiting the beach.
Through her commitment to both employees and clients, Amy knows how to serve as the Payroll Manager. A Dothan native, Amy joined PRemployer in 2008, bringing with her five years of experience. Amy trains, develops and mentors all Payroll Specialists. She oversees them to insure that clients’ payroll runs efficiently, accurately, and is compliant. For her outstanding performance and positive attitude, Amy was chosen by the Executive Team to be a member of the exclusive Circle of Excellence. Rich Merrell prides himself on hard work, integrity, customer service, creativity, team work and a passion for success. Rich grew up in Napa, California. At the age of 7 Rich started his athletic career in wrestling which continued through college and as a championship collegiate wrestler and after 800+ matches he started his second successful career in sales. Rich brings an amazingly diverse sales background to PRemployer and his experience has no borders. For 8 years Rich worked in sales, management and training in Italy where he conducted business in the Italian language. And in his free time he was part of the Florence wrestling team. This kind of diversity proves to be very effective in sales. He will say “it’s about having a strong sense of perception that makes adapting to different situations invaluable in sales”. Rich is a Christian devoted to God, a family man devoted to his wife and two kids and a company man devoted to the success of PRemployer. Rich is still an athlete who enjoys pushing his body and mind. He loves fishing 100 miles into the Gulf and deer hunting on the family property. Dan has spent his entire career in human resources management, working for Fortune 100 companies as well as smaller, privately owned enterprises. He was born and raised in Michigan and was such an avid Michigan State Spartan fan, he decided to attend there. After graduating from MSU with a Master’s Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations, Dan has directed human resources departments in both union and non-union environments, and has extensive experience in domestic and foreign operations. Dan provides hundreds of clients with solutions to their human resources issues, and guides them through the myriad of employment laws and regulations. He and his wife of over 30 years have three lovely children, one brand new grandbaby, and when not spending time with them, he enjoys humiliating himself on the golf course.
With almost two decades of experience in payroll and accounting Julie’s talents and expertise are one of a kind to PRemployer. A Dothan native, Julie began her career in banking and accounting, then later went on to own her own flower shop. In her current role, Julie processes staffing and leasing payroll. Holding a certification in Fundamental Payroll from t he American Payroll Association, Julie believes in a top level of accuracy and getting things done right the first time. In her spare time Julie likes to read, craft, and knit. But, her true passion lies with floral designing. She loves the water and especially enjoys traveling with her family. In 2011 Megan joined Personnel Resources team as a Front Desk Coordinator and was promoted to Payroll Specialist in 2012 with PRemployer. As part of PRemployer’s Payroll department, Megan brings hard work, and dedication to insure that clients’ payroll runs on-time, accurately, and in-compliance. She was born and Raised in Dothan, AL. Currently enrolled in Wallace Community College, Megan plans to graduate with her Associate’s degree in Nursing. When she’s not in the office, Megan enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy being outside whether it’s heading down to the creek or watching their son ride his four-wheeler.
Stacey was born and raised in Hartford/Slocomb, AL. Stacey graduated from Troy University, Dothan Campus with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. She worked at Movie Gallery for 7 ½ years before taking a job at Fort Rucker, AL. She also worked for a government contractor for 7 years before coming to work with PREmployer in 2014. Stacey has learned a tremendous amount about the staffing/leasing business, and knows that there is a lot more to learn. When not at work, Stacey enjoys spending as much time as she can with her son. Christine was born and raised in Clio, Alabama. After graduating from Troy University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, Christine moved to Dothan and began her career at The Dothan Eagle. She worked there for 12 years, 9 of which she was a staff accountant before moving to PRemployer in May 2017 as Staff Accountant. She has 2 wonderful kids, a daughter that is 11 and a son that is 8 and when she’s not working, she is usually at the baseball field with her son or volunteering with her daughter’s girl scout group. Christine loves traveling, the beach, shopping and most of all, spending quality time with friends and family.

Chelsie joined PRemployer in 2010, as an Administrative Assistant, bringing 4 years of payroll and accounting experience to the payroll department. In 2012 Chelsie was promoted to Leasing Payroll Specialist. Chelsie works hard to insure that clients’ payroll and employee benefits are processed correctly and in a timely manner. In 2013, Chelsie earned her Fundamental Payroll Certification through the America n Payroll Association. She was born and raised in Wicksburg, AL and now lives in Dothan. In her spare time she enjoys doing freelance makeup for special events, spending time with family, visiting the beach frequently and cheering on her Auburn Tigers.
A 1985 honors graduate and baseball Letterman at Mississippi State University, Mike enjoyed 32 years of banking before joining the team this year. He joins our PEO sales group as a business consultant. Mike loves helping clients solve problems through multiple solutions and is driven to help his clients succeed. Along with business, Mike’s passion for helping others carries into his Christian Mission Work. He is an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and serves on the Board of Directors at the Harbor Church. The Harbor is an ecumenical ministry in downtown Dothan that helps the homeless and less fortunate survive life’s storms.
In his spare time outside of work and church, Mike can be found competing on one of Dothan’s many tennis courts through the USTA. Competitive yet compassionate is probably a good summary for Mike. He was raised in Winchester, Kentucky but calls Dothan home. Mike is married to Jan (28 years) and they have three children – Will, Alex and Maddie.
Chris came to PRemployer in 2001 with years of experience working in Customer Service. A few years after joining the company he moved into Technology. He has been instrumental in pulling together different aspects of technology to meet client’s demands. Some of his accomplishments include: providing a mobile workforce the ability to accurately capture time and job costing data thus saving time and money; developing electronic forms with signature to allow quicker and more accurate hiring of employees; assisted in the development of custom business software for a recruiting firm and more recently implemented a secure email service to protect confidential email transmissions. Working with PRemployer’s Managed Services Vendor who monitors all of the daily computer and network operations of PRemployer and their affiliated Companies, Chris helps to ensure all data and systems are functional and secure.
Chris graduated from Troy State Dothan with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. He and his wife have three children and are active in a local church where they both participate with the Worship services on Sunday mornings.
Julia is a recent addition to the PR Employer payroll team. Starting in May of 2015, she brings with her 5 years of payroll experience and over 10 years of administrative assistance experience. Currently she is pursuing her Payroll Certification thru PR Employer. She enjoys the diversity as well as the fast paced nature of PR Employer. Julia was born and raised in Ashford AL, graduating in 2001from Ashford High. She now resides in Dothan AL. When she is not cheering on the Crimson Tide in her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and her family.

Debbie serves as the CFO at the PR Companies. In this role, she has the opportunity to work with clients and vendors and is responsible for the daily management of the Payroll and Accounting team. As the leader of this team for the past five years, she has guided them through two software conversions, streamlined processes, cut costs and implemented a certification program for her staff.
In 2013 Debbie completed the required certification training and testing for the Certified Payroll Professional through the American Payroll Association. She, as well as, members of her team, maintain their certification through continuing education.
As a member of the PR Companies Leadership and Executive teams she helps solve problems, meet client needs and strategize for the future. Debbie is dedicated to the success of our companies by leading and participating.
As they say, “she works hard off the field as she does on it”. Debbie is a graduate of the University of West Florida and is looking forward to the Argonaut’s first football season in 2016. Of course she loves Alabama, Auburn and Florida State…..she just likes to watch her favorite “teams” play. In 1991, Jim began his career with Personnel Resources in the Utility Department and eventually began working as both an on and off-site Recruiter. In 1995, he assumed his current role in Safety and Risk Management for the PR Companies. His responsibilities, to name a few, include managing all worker’s compensation, safety training, safety program development Udesign, and accident investigations. Over the past twenty-four years, Jim has built very strong relationships with our clients and been an integral part of this company. Jim has six grandchildren who keep him very busy! He also loves fishing and watching football.

Ben has worked in the staffing industry since 1988. Over the years, he has developed a variety of safety and incentive programs for companies throughout the Southeast. Ben has many years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of employee productivity and performance tracking systems including expertise in employee hiring and profiling from entry level to executive positions. In his early years, he wrote and produced numerous training and orientation videos for staffing clients and other related businesses. During 2008-2012, he served on the Workers’ Compensation Risk Management Best Practices Board of Directors for the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, which certifies individual PEO companies in best practices concerning their own workers compensation processes and programs.
Ben is a member of a local Vistage group that meets for a day once a month. Vistage is an international organization of business CEO’s meeting as peer groups advising each other on all matters of succeeding in business and life. Ben is a charter member of his group that started in 2007.
Ben spends time serving various charitable groups. He has been coaching club baseball since 2006. His current team, Wiregrass Indians, plays summer ball at various college stadiums around the Southeast for the purpose of advancing players into the college game. Ben enjoys family, travel, snow skiing, fishing and baseball. He and his wife Rhonda started Koinonia Kaffe, a coffee house ministry (2006-2012) in Headland, Alabama. They have four grown children. Ben and Rhonda are members of Abbeville United Methodist Church in Abbeville, Alabama.

Lynn was born in Andalusia, AL, lived in Huntsville, AL for 20 yrs. and then relocated to Dothan, AL in July to be near family. She began her career in Accounting in 1995 working for a large telecommunications company. She has worked in various arenas, her favorite being a Country Club. She has a passion for her job and loves solving problems and meeting new people. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Briana, going to the beach and shopping.

Within six months of her start date at Personnel Resources, Mary Beth had landed two on-site staffing accounts and had added over 200 positions to the company roster. She was regularly seen sporting a hair net, ear plugs and smelled of peanuts but she was having the time of her life! Since then, she has become our resident “woo hoo” girl! Full of energy and enthusiasm, she is passionate about helping our clients, our employees and our staff. Employed with PR since 1996, she is now a staffing veteran and can’t imagine working in any other industry or for any other company. Mary Beth has lived in Dothan for most of her life and is widely regarded as a “networking ninja.” Always eager to serve, Mary Beth is a Past Chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber and a member of the Governor’s Workforce Council. In 2017, she was recognized by Business Alabama as a “mover and shaker” and has served as both Chairman of the Board and Overall Campaign Chair for the Wiregrass United Way. Mary Beth is also the first ever female President of either Dothan Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.
After spending 18 years in the retail industry, LeAnn decided it was time for a change and joined the PR Benefit team fall 2015. Utilizing her experience, she brings her strong customer service and leadership skills to the company. She is looking forward to growing in this new industry and believes she has found the right place to do it. LeAnn was born and raised in Dothan and graduated from Troy University with a focus in Sociology and Psychology. Outside of work you will catch LeAnn spending time with family and friends. When Becky Harrison Carter originally founded Personnel Resources, she has one goal in mind – To Help People Succeed – and for the past twenty five years she has been doing just that! While Becky no longer works in the office on a daily basis, she is active on the board of directors and provides valuable insight into the direction of all of the PR Companies which include: Preferred Risk Services, a commercial insurance agency, and PREmployer, a PEO. Becky’s driving force is her two children – Harrison (20) and Caitlyn (17). In her spare time she is active in the community serving the Humane Society and the Boys and Girls Club of the Wiregrass Alabama area and she is also active in her church – Covenant United Methodist Church.
Keelin recently joined PREmployer in the spring of 2016 as a Leasing Payroll Specialist. She received her degree at Troy University where she studied in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Although she has only been with PR a short time, she has already earned the Fundaments of Payroll Certification through the American Payroll Association. Keelin works meticulously to ensure her client’s payroll needs are attended to in an accurate and timely manner. Out of the office, Keelin can be found curled up with a good book, baking something sweet, or off exploring new places. She has a passion for travel and is always looking for her next adventure.

Steve has been with PR Companies since 1999. He has served in many different roles and capacities in an effort to support the growth of the company over the past sixteen years. Since 2005, Steve has been Risk Manager and has over ten years of experience in risk management, workers compensation and safety programs, developing client evaluation processes, and database and systems management. Steve has not only showed great dedication and loyalty to the company, but he has also made major contributions to the success of the Risk Management Program. He has two beautiful daughters, Madelyn who is twelve and Emily who is fifteen. He loves spending time with his wife and daughters on their boat, making trips to the beach/lake.
