Our History
Current owners, Richard Guest and Becky Carter, started Personnel Resources in April 1987. Prior to coming to Dothan, they were both involved in the growth and success of Personnel Concepts, Inc., a similar personnel service in Columbus, Georgia. After months of research, they chose to open an office in Dothan – mostly because Dothan being Becky’s hometown. The business took off immediately and staff members were added. With the dedication and drive of our sales force, the company planned to expand.
In 1993, Ben Harrison became an owner/stockholder and now serves as president. Since Ben’s leadership, Personnel Resources has opened Professional Employer Services. In 2007, Personnel Resources opened Preferred Risk Services, a full service commercial insurance agency.
